My inspiration for this LEGO MOC came from my love of The Goonies and the timeless magic of treasure-hunting movies. Using the retired LEGO Dimensions Goonies set as a foundation, I wanted to pay tribute to this classic film in the compact and creative style of LEGO Postcards. The design pulls in iconic elements like the skeleton piano, Sloth, and, of course, the legendary pirate ship, each carefully placed to evoke the movie’s adventurous spirit. I also created a detailed background to showcase these elements, transforming the MOC into a dynamic display piece that celebrates one of the best treasure-hunting stories ever told. It’s a nostalgic nod to the thrilling quest for “One-Eyed Willy’s” treasure and my passion for capturing cinematic moments in LEGO form.
